What is the EEEGR East of England Energy Group?

Launched in 2001, the East of England energy Group (EEEGR), is a non profitable organisation created to represent the energy sector and its supply chain in the East of England. The majority of EEEGR core programmes and projects are geared towards the development of sustainable energy in the region.

Eagle-i and EEEGR

Eagle-i offers a range of offshore drone inspections to the Oil & Gas and Renewables Industries.

With over 30 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry, much of which gained in the Southern North Sea, “joining EEEGR is a strategic move to strengthen our position, offering aerial inspections using RPAS (Remote Pilot Aircraft System) to support North Sea operations” Says Neil Youngs, owner of Eagle-i.

“As a company based in East Anglia using local people, we are proud to be associated with EEEGR. This helps to boost our presence in the sector and promotes our survey and drone inspections services.”

“We are also proud to be part of this innovative industry that has been transforming the face of inspections and surveys, such as inspections to wind turbine blades using UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)”
